We know you want to do and see as much as you can while visiting Breckenridge. From those of us who live here, the following activities are where we take friends or family when they come to visit. Get the most bang for your buck with one of the activities below, or even no buck at all, because most of it is absolutely free.

Hiking: There is a trail for any level or desired length. We’ve narrowed the hundreds down to our favorites and all are included in Best Easy Breckenridge Hikes and Best Summit County Hiking Trails.

Vail Pass Bike Shuttle: Our go-to activity when we have family or friends visiting is the Vail Pass Bike Shuttle! Incredible scenery and an easy ride the entire way.

Free Activities: The Gondola, Isak the Troll and more are included on our Free Activities list.

Ride an E-Bike: We have an exclusive partnership with Black Tie Rentals who give our guests a 15% discount on E-bike rentals. They will even deliver them to you -and provide recommendations on where to go ride on the Summit County Rec Path. Call (970) 547-4416.

Lake Dillon: There are two marinas on Lake Dillon, one in Frisco and one in Dillon. Both offer pontoon, kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals. The pontoon boat ride across Lake Dillon is highly recommended. Find more info at lakedillonboatrides.com. You can experience the serene beauty of Lake Dillon for free by walking around it on the Rec Path or taking one of hundreds of trails off a rec path down to the shore.

Scenic Drive:  Boreas Pass is a summer must-do activity!

Indoor Activities: Summer is monsoon season in Breckenridge. There are plenty of indoor activities for rainy days. Local tip: Rain usually comes in the afternoon and often doesn’t last very long. If you want to plan an outdoor activity and improve the odds of not getting rained on, plan it for morning!

Horseback Riding: Breckenridge Stables offers horseback riding on Peak 9.

There are even more activities a short drive in any direction from Breckenridge including whitewater rafting, Jeep or ATV rentals, hot springs, train rides and amazing sights such as the Royal Gorge. Our blog is new and we do not yet have detailed information on these activities, but if any of them sound intriguing to you, please give us a text or call! (970) 968-8005
